The Founder

 Conferences & Exhibitions (C&E Pvt. Ltd) was established in 1989 by Sandhya Chipalkatti, a Media Entrepreneur, who has a long and successful career spanning over 25 years in the beauty, spa and wellness industry. She has over 25 years of experience in organizing trade conferences and industry exhibitions, was the pioneer behind India’s first beauty trade show, Image India.
She has worked closely with industry stalwarts, artists and professional brands in the hair, beauty and nail sectors, nationally and internationally.

Sandhya is the founder, editor and publisher of two of India’s most reputed trade journals StyleSpeak – the No.1 professional magazine for the salon industry (2002) and Spa Mantra – India’s Spa and Wellness magazine (2011). She has recently launched a Hindi trade title for the salon industry called Glamstar.

Her other accomplishments include being part of the launch team at India Boating – India’s first luxury boating magazine (2006-2009), the Indian Spa & Wellness Association (ISWA) and the Indian Society of Cosmetic Chemists (ISCC).

Her hobbies include reading, travelling, theatre, music and of course, writing.
